BIO

Vincen García is a spanish bassist with excellent technique and an inexhaustible creative capacity. With over 14 years of experience, he has managed to forge a distinctive style based on a modern sound and an execution full of grit and energy.

Born to a vocalist mother and a trumpeter father, Vincen spent his childhood immersed in music, tours, and concerts with his parents. Faced with a lack of candidates, young Vincen volunteered to play bass in the school band, thus entering the world of four strings.

With relentless motivation and curiosity, Vincen began playing the bass entirely self-taught. Thanks to his innate ability, he quickly achieved a powerful sound and began expanding his extensive repertoire of rhythmic patterns, increasingly complex and demanding.

Since 2014, he has been touring with his band Funkiwis, with which he has recorded three albums presented at Spain's most important festivals. Additionally, he has played in bands of different styles such as Mafalda, Doctor Pitangú, Blue Caravan, or Mediterranean Roots, as well as in orchestras or the musical "Chiquilla" by Seguridad Social.

As a session bassist, he has participated in recordings like "Avanzadoras" alongside La Mari from Chambao, "X" by Mafalda, or "Fánatics de la serendipitat" by La Fúmiga. His great versatility with the bass allows him to adeptly handle studio sessions as well as live performances in different formats.

During the pandemic, he dedicated himself to enhancing his Instagram account by posting videos almost daily. His technical skills, groove, and sound have positioned him as one of the most followed bassists on Instagram, currently boasting over 410,000 followers.

In 2023, he released his debut solo album "Ventura" and presented it live in cities such as Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, London, or Manchester with tremendous attendance success.

In the fall of 2023, he received a call from renowned guitarist Cory Wong to join his European tour.

In 2024, he performed at the NAMM SHOW in the United States with the support of Pitbull Strings, Ampeg, and Yamaha.
